ISLAMABAD: The 10th death anniversary of prominent classical and ghazal singer Ustad Asad Amanat Ali Khan was observed on S
aturday.
He was born on September 25, 1955 in Lahore.
He received his
basic training in music from his father and famous musician Ustad Amanat Ali Khan. Ustad Asad Amanat Ali K
han started his musical career by performing
“Thumri” and then went on to record some of his most popular numbers and ghazals.
Asad Amanat Ali Khan died o
f a cardiac arrest on 8 April 2007 in London.
