PESHAWAR: The voluntary repatriation of Afghan ref
ugees from Pakistan to their motherland will b
egin from tomorrow (Monday)

According to theUnited Nations High Commissioner for Ref
ugees (UNHCR) spokesman, 380,000 registered Afghan ref
ugees were repatriated to Afghanistan from different areas of Pakistan last year.
A repatriation centre has been opened at Chamkani,
near Peshawar, to register those ref
ugees who want to go back to Afghanistan.
UNHCR is providing $40
0 to each returning Afghan refugee besides food and other basic items.
