KARACHI: At least five people were killed and six wounded after
a rock broke off a mountain and fell on a house in Karachi early Thursday, police officials sa
id.
SP Asif Razzak said that the boulder fell on a house in Gulshan e Ghazi area of Karachi’s Baldia Town which was owned by a man, Zameer Gul.

escue members have pulled out five bodies including those of Gul, his son and daughter, from the rubble.
Gul’s wife and another daughter were injured in the incident. They were rescued from the wreckag
e, the off
icial said.
Three minor girls and a man are still said to be trapped under the rubble.
Efforts are underway to save them.
