SEHWAN: Sindh government has protested against the federal government over suspending the power supply to the
shrine of Lal Shahbaz Qalandar.
According to details, Sindh Chief Minister (CM) Murad Ali Shah telephoned Water and Power Minister Khawaja Muhammad Asif — who is currently i
n Germany — and informed him of the pow
er outage at the
shrine.
The chief minister said that the CCTV cameras and walkthrough gates stopped working due to the pow
er outages.He asked why the power supply at the
shrine was suspended when the province is paying its dues
.
CM Sindh assured the federal minister that the next instalment will be paid soon.Asif has taken notice of the pow
er outage and assured the chief minister that the matter will be investigat
ed.
