LAHORE: Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) has adjourned the Model Town case’s hearing till January 31 in terms of its maintainability.
The petition was filed by Idara Minhajul Quran in which about 127 people, including Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, Punjab Chief Minis
ter Shehbaz Sharif, federal Railway Minister Khawaja Saad R
afique and provincial minister Rana Sanaullha were held respon
sible. The petition prayed to summon all these people in the court.
On Saturday, the footage of the incident was also submitted in the court by the petitioner while counsels of the petitioner would submit their power of attorney on next hearing too.
It is pertinent to mention here that a petition filed by Lahore police is also pendi
ng in the court in this regard. The petitioner (Idara Minhajul Quran) has ex
pressed its doubt over it.
