BALOCHISTAN: A family picnic on Friday turned into a tragedy as 17 members of the s
ame family were devoured by the sea at Balochistan’s Gadani beach.
According to rescue officials, 11 of the 17 people were rescued while 4 bodies of women were recovered from the sea.
A search operation for two missing children is underway.
According to sources, therescued have been transferred t
o rural health clinic for medical atten
tion.
The family hailed from Karachi’s Lyari area and had gone to the beach for a picnic.

er, two men had drowned at Karachi’s Sandspit beach on the secod day of Eid-ul-Fitr, who were identified as two friends aged 22 and 19.
According to sources a total of 6 people had drowned on different beaches in Karachi
in the previous week.
